Welcome to the Video Express Blog! This is my first attempt at a blog, so anybody that reads this, please be patient, as I figure out what I am doing.

Today, I want to talk about the three movies that came out today, November 10, 2009. They were Up, The Ugly Truth, and The Accidental Husband. I have had many customers ask me on a weekly basis, what the new releases are about. This is for the cheaters that want to know before they come into the store.

"Up" is a very good animated, family adventure about an elderly gentleman, who wants to fulfill his wife's lifelong dream, after her passing, to move to Paradise Falls. In the attempt to move his home, a young scout is inadvertantly taken along for the ride. This is a very sweet film for family members of all ages.

"The Ugly Truth" is an adult "R" rated comedy, that is a basic battle of the sexes story, pitting Katherine Heigl vs. Gerard Butler. Heigl stars as a morning TV talk show who is forced to work with her obnoxious new star. This leads to a contest where she has to follow his rules to pick up the man of her dreams or he will quit. This is a funny movie for the appropriate age.

"The Accidental Husband" stars Uma Thurman as a radio love advisor, whose advice led to a woman calling off her wedding. The jilted fiance(Jeffrey Dean Morgan) uses this as a springboard to fowl up Dr. Lloyd's (Thurman) pending wedding. It is a fun romantic comedy, especially for fans of Morgan, who became famous in Grey's Anatomy.
